Granted, it doesn’t look like there are any trains in this trailer, but it sure as heck reminds me of the classic Martin/Candy film.

I immediately had the same thought when I saw this a few weeks back.
Yeah, not a big fan of classic been remade and fat boy lost my respect when he did Dinner with Schmucks, Americans just shouldn’t remake French movies (Taxi, Just Visiting…)
This isn’t really a remake, more like taking a classic idea and doing your own thing with it. I like Downey enough but not sure about Galifianakis, we’ll wait and see.
There is no comparison to TPA. “You’re fucked…” and driving between two transfer trucks are simply classics.
I had never heard of tpa but when I saw the preview a few moments ago I thought about due date. I see the similarities and now I’m excited to catch tpa this weekend. As for the American comment that is what we do we reinvent even if things are already awesome. Ashamed to say I saw due date first but I will def b glued to the screen fri to watch Martin and candy!!
