If you haven’t heard, Mark Millar has gathered a band of well known names and is launching a 100-page monthly magazine that features strips by John Romita, Jr. Steve NcNiven, Tommy Lee Edwards, Jonathan Ross, Frankie Boyle, and features news about the movie, gaming, and of course comic book industry. Titan Magazines released this teaser trailer promoting the September 2, 2010 launch of the magazine.

I thought about buying issue 1, seeing it in this month’s Previews, but ultimately decided against it because 1) I really find it difficult to bring myself to buy a magazine these days, with so much great content on the internet *cough* Major Spoilers *cough* and 2) There’s no one on their list of contributors that really gets me all that excited.
I followed the links, and looked at getting a subscription. It was about $60 including shipping and handling. I did the math, and I used to spend upwards of a $100 a week on comics, I decided to get it. It looks good, and I like a Brit sland to things. Also KICK-ASS 2: Balls to the Wall is going to be great.
Trying to compete with 2000AD or Heavymetal… I support this ballsy move.
I wish the font on the cover wasn’t so overt though. It should have said CLINT not Clint.
I of course mean more overt..(I put in overt? I could swear I wrote subtle)
