At the San Diego Comic Con, Legendary Pictures handed out T-Shirts with this image of Godzilla on it.  Apparently, when attendees stood in front of a webcam, the Legendary Pictures logo launched an augmented reality video showing the god lizard in action and shooting off his atomic breath.

The new Godzilla film is expected to hit theaters in 2012.

Awesome! I am so ready for a new Godzilla theater experience, and since they seem to be on track with the design, maybe it wont be a travesty.

Can’t be worse than the Mathew Broderick version…

Yes, but will this Godzilla be blinded by any high-beams? Cause if not, I’m not going. The wittiness of the writing in the Broderick one, in conjuction with the perfect casting and creature design make that easily one of the top 20 movies of all time.
