Oni Press has to be on cloud 9 this week at the San Diego Comic-Con.  Scott Pilgrim is taking the show by storm, and now there’s word that the publisher has landed a first look deal with CBS Television.

With Warner Bros. developing properties left and right, it’s a good sign that the networks are coming around to see what else is out there in the comic world that might make for interesting television.

I’d love to see them commission a series based on the criminally underrated “Wasteland”. A few years ago “Queen & Country” wouldv’e made a great spy series, but it’s sadly now far too over saturated genre on TV.
