Green Lantern is getting a lot of attention at Comic-Con International: San Diego with the Abin Sur display.

One more after the jump!

Even with all the flashbulbs going off, and crowds jostling each other, I really like the detail that’s being put into this display, and it gives me hope that the Green Lantern movie will totally rock balls to the wall.

The focus on surface anatomy/musculature further demonstrates the design rationale for the GL uniform Entertainment Weekly featured. Seems that a ring does not give the wearer “clothing”, but rather a biological enhancement/armor. That’s a nice touch, but many will miss white gloves on Hal’s uniform (how would that be justified?).

    Abin.

Anyways, I like how everything is looking right now. I have high expectations for the movie.

Looking at Abin, I can only imagine how frightening (and fittingly so) will Sinestro look in a possible sequel.
