It seems the last couple have days have been filled with pictures from the upcoming Thor movie, and Marvel continues to push and hype the movie as we ease into the San Diego Comic Con.  It’s almost like they are trying to force us to believe the film will be all kinds of awesome even before we see any real footage.

Instead of just pushing Thor, Marvel has released two giant concept art posters that you’ll probably get a chance to see at the convention featuring the heroes doing battle.

This Thor piece reminds me a lot of the concept art of battle between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi from years ago when Episode III was still a twinkle in Lucas’ mind.

The Captain America piece, on the other hand does stir a lot of memories of a hero fighting the Nazi menace in war torn Europe, and even though Cap has the worst Greg Land porn face going on, I like what I see.
