When it comes to online privacy, everyone needs to be more aware of what information is out there and how it may be used. NBM Publishing and the non-profit organization, PrivacyActivism, have teamed for the graphic novel Networked: Carabella on the Run, aimed at online privacy issues.  The graphic novel is written by Gerard Jones, with art by Mark Badger.

Mark Badger observes: “Computers have expanded our lives, first as tools and now with our social lives, with Facebook and other networks. This digital life has opened up our lives to marketers and to government with almost no control by us. It’s a little creepy to start out doing science fiction and end up working on slice of life comics with a sci-fi glow.”

Aimed at young adults, Networked: Carabella on the Run arrives in September, 2010.
