I don’t know if it has anything to do with the upcoming Smurfs movie, but DreamWorks Animation has announced it is working to develop a movie basked on those god-awful Good Luck Trolls that have been popular since 1959. Adam Wilson and Melanie Wilson LaBracio are writing the screen with Dannie Festa producing.
Want, or Do Not Want? I think the answer is obvious.

Are they seriously THAT desperate in Hollywood for material?? People used to hang those damn naked trolls from their rear view mirrors, key chains…Man they were obnoxious.
Well if they do a Space Invader movie and a Bazooka Joe Movie…
I can’t wait until the Dreamworks Crew cries at another Academy Awards presentation when they, once again, fail to get the Best Animated Film Oscar. If this is their idea of good subject matter, they don’t even deserve to be nominated anymore.
It’ll probably look something like the Arthur and the Invisibles (Minimoys), but with less of a plot. I just saw my first preview for the Smurfs movie and they’re really aiming for the wrong crowd I think. Apparently we’re about to get Smurf’d and yeah, it should just be a straightforward story, not just another stick them in the city with some schmucky human actor to bumble around in and make me want to gouge my own eyes out. Might as well put Jason Lee in there, he’s pretty much decided he doesn’t need the credibility anymore. Him or Breckin Meyer.
