If you thought Dynamite Entertainment had a lot of Green Hornet comics coming out now, wait until September arrives and the company unleashes eight titles in one month.

Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet #7 is written by the man himself, Mr. Kevin Smith, and teamed up on art duties is his faithful sidekick and partner Jonathan Lau!  Add in the covers by Alex Ross and Joe Benitez, and the amazing story featuring a battle with the Black Hornet, and you’ll have one of the best written and drawn comic books around!  (But then again, we’re biased!)

The Green Hornet Year One #6 is written by Matt Wagner and drawn by Aaron Campbell, with covers by John Cassaday and Francesco Francavilla!  The first story in the origin of the original team of crime-fighters concludes!  Set in the golden age of comics and history, writer Matt Wagner weaves a tale of action and adventure unlike anything else seen on the comic racks! Add in the exquisite art of Aaron Campbell and Francesco Francavilla, and you have the perfect companion to the modern day adventures of the Green Hornet from Kevin Smith and Dynamite! Our tale is split across time, following both Britt and Kato developing into the men they would become and the adventures they formed together as the Green Hornet and Kato!

The New Green Hornet and Kato renew their fathers’ war on crime, but even as they clean up the streets of Century City, the Black Hornet musters his forces for a final confrontation with the gang-busting duo. Britt Reid assumes his father’s role as publisher of The Sentinel, and quickly uncovers a plot to unleash a hellish new war machine that will imperil not only his city, but the world. Fighting a war on two fronts, the young Green Hornet reaches his breaking point.

Green Hornet: Parallel Lives #3 is written by Jai Nitz and drawn by Nigel Raynor, with cover by Paul Renaud!  The movie prequel continues to delve into the secret origins of Kato and Britt Reid.  Where did Kato get the idea for the Black Beauty and how did he learn to be a mechanic? Find out in this love-triangle-filled issue with illegal street racers and nitro-fueled chases.  Also, see what happens an ocean away when Britt gets the idea to do some racing of his own.

The Green Hornet Strikes! #5 is written by Brett Matthews and drawn by Ariel Padilla, with a cover by John Cassaday!  The adventures of the Green Hornet of the future continues!  There is only one person to stop the corruption and evil of Chicago, and that is the GREEN HORNET!  Featuring the writing of acclaimed Lone Ranger scribe Brett Matthews, cover artist John Cassaday, and interior artist Ariel Padilla.

Kato Origins #5: Way of the Ninja is written by Jai Nitz and drawn by Colton Worley, with covers by Colton Worley and Francesco Francavilla!  Kato catches up to the mystery cargo and Japanese spies in California. Will Kato choose his Japanese heritage over his status as the Green Hornet’s manservant?  Can Kato stop a plot to help the Axis powers?  Can Kato defeat spies, save the day, and overcome racism in America? More importantly, can Kato find love and finally solve the murder that started the adventure?

Kevin Smith’s Kato #6 is written by Ande Parks and drawn by Diego Bernard, with covers by Ale Garza, and Carlos Rafael!  Having squared off against Black Hornet in Japan, the new Kato travels to the states to continue the battle against the man who killed her mother.  As Kato begins her quest in America, she finds herself facing off against a league of Black Hornet’s Swarm ninjas, as well as a gang of super deadly, teen assassins.  Kato continues her journey that will lead her directly into the smash Green Hornet series!

Kevin Smith’s Kato: Not My Father’s Daughter (Advance solicit for November 2010)!  From the pages of Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet comes this thrilling lead-in story, starring Mulan Kato, daughter of the Green Hornet’s faithful companion, Kato! Learn the secrets of Kato, his daughter, his wife’s murder and the mysterious Black Hornet, in a series that serves as a prequel to Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet.  Collects issues #1-5, along with a complete cover gallery.

Green Hornet Golden Age Re-Mastered #3 is based on stories by Fran Striker and drawn by Bert Whitman Associates, with a cover by Joe Rubenstein.  Whether you are a recent or long-time Green Hornet fan, this series of classic Green Hornet reprints will be enjoyed by fans of all ages!  Featuring stories written by Fran Striker, these 40 page issues are re-mastered for the first time!  Featuring a new cover by artist, Joe Rubenstein!
