Of all the time travel television shows made, Doctor Who ranks up there as one of my favorites. As a wee lad, I had a chance to see the actual TARDIS in person when it went on tour in the U.S. Now the Tardis used by the 9th Doctor (Christopher Eccleston for those keeping score) is going on the auction block next week (June 23, 2010), and could fetch between 8,000 and 12,000 Euros.
A complete Tardis prop, circa 2005, of painted rasped wood panel and glass construction, the base having painted parquet effect floor, panels fastening using bracket and bolt, having a pair of hinged doors, on with Yale® lock, with windows to doors and signage to front, top section of Tardis with removable ‘Police Box’ signs, interior of Tardis roof with a number of miniature lights, and further interior lighting, the roof with removable lamp to top, height approximately 10ft
It would be awesome to own this thing, but $10 to $20,000 is a lot to spend for a prop. Then there is the shipping fee, and storage costs that make me wishing I had won the lottery a few weeks ago.

It might be expensive, but think of the fan films you could make!
