Held at the Philadelphia Convention Center June 11th through the 13th, Wizard World Philly was filled with artists, writers, actors and of course cosplayers!

The 2010 Wizard World Philly show marked my 8th year attending the event and cosplayers were everywhere you turned! On Friday I dressed as Zatanna then Slave Leia for the weekend. This year’s Costume contest had the largest number of contestants ever and I’m happy to announce that my friend Hannah won for her handmade Harley Quinn costume in the Comics category. An acquaintance of mine by the name of Stacey won Best in Show for her gorgeous steam punk Poison Ivy outfit. To view full videos from the contest, check out cosplayer Paul’s You Tube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/paulv70

I assisted the PA Jedi at their booth this year as Slave Leia and posed for photographs with fans. I also joined members of the 501st Legion for a photo op.  America’s Next Top Model winner and Playboy model Adrianne Curry was one of the guests in attendance. She caused quite a stir at last year’s Big Apple Comic Con when she attended as Slave Leia herself. I got Adrianne’s autograph for my sister who is a huge fan. Adrianne was very gracious and sweet and took her own photos of me. When I departed to take pictures with the 501st Legion (which she is a member of), Adrianne joined us and posed on her knees with my chain in her mouth. We then made our way to the Batmobile from the Adam West Batman television show where I sat on the hood for photographers. Adrianne once again joined us and jumped on the hood with me, wrapping her legs around me. It was quite the photo frenzy as dozens of fans and photographers clamored for a shot. Being wrapped around a gorgeous celebrity was the highlight of this year’s show for me!

The pictures are awesome as hell but nothing beats seeing it live. Especially the way Adrianne would gently touch her … sorry … need another shower.

Beautiful. But I have to say I didn’t even notice Ms. Curry. Or even the bikini for that matter, but that’s just a matter of my own personal preferences.

    Very nice photos, Victoria.
