Over at his Twitter account, DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns let the news fly that there is a live action Blue Beetle television show in development. He first prefaced it with some Batman: The Brave and The Bold news, before letting it all drop.

Blue Beetle’s going to appear in most of the Brave and the Bold’s this year and we’re hoping to develop a live-action show. Fingers crossed!

And for those going to the San Diego Comic Con, you might want to sit in on his panels.

NEWS from DCE!! We have a live-action test of Jaime Reyes’ scarab activating his suit. It. Is. Awesome.  If I can break it out of the vault, I’ll bring it to SDCC. LIVE ACTION BLUE BEETLE!!

Now that Smallville is winding down, it really is time for DC to be thinking about a new replacement show.  I wonder if they have considered the Major Spoilers Casting Couch article we featured a while ago about Blue Beetle?

Awesome news from Johns!
