Ever since Disney announced it was making The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, I have wondered if the studio would some how make a reference to the Fantasia sequence featuring Mickey Mouse that this movie draws its name from.  If you look closely in the latest trailer, you’ll get to see that sequence get the live action treatment.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice arrives July 16, 2010.
