Statue maker Kotobukiya has unveiled a brand new statue in its Bishoujo line with the Phoenix.

An elemental force of fire and life, the Phoenix found a suitable host template in Jean Grey, the X-Man known as Marvel Girl.  When Grey seemingly sacrificed herself to save her teammates the alien entity took her place and started a whole new heroic chapter in the saga of the Phoenix.  Now for the first time Phoenix is presented in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita.

The statue is sculpted by Koel Matsumoto and stands 9-inches high, and will sell for $59.99 when it is released in August.

And if you are curious if there is a Dark Phoenix version, the answer is Yes.  You can see the complete gallery after the jump.
