Yesterday, we told you about Neil Patrick Harris’ involvement with the 3D Smurf movie, now we hear George Lopez, Katy Perry, Alan Cummingand Jonathan Winters are involved with the production as well.

It’s interesting Winters is in the film, he provided voices during the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series back in the day, and he’ll be playing Papa Smurf in this modern day tale.  It’s probably not too hard to put two and two together and get Katy Perry as Smurfette, and Goerge Lopez as Grouchy Smurf.

As we noted a while ago, the Smurfs movie is still scheduled for a December 17, 2010 release date.
