Bit of an idiotic tagline, when you think about it, as it’s been stated over and over again that, in terms of crime, focusing on preventing the problem from happening is way more effective than coming up with a solution.
Also: I’m guessing it’s The Beast.

It’s a very Spider-Man-ish pose, but the tagline doesn’t fit Spidey at all. Old Peter pretty much focuses on the problem until he gets annoying.
I’ll go with The Beast, since the hands look big and we’ve seen that image where it looks like he’s going back to his more ape-like look.
I hope not…Is that I’m not much a fan of apes or primates in general…for a chidlish trauma I got. STUPID MONKEYS I HOPE TO LIVE TO SEE YOU END UP LIKE THE DODO!!…errh sorry…I don’t like apes and monkeys…at all.
I’m just hoping this won’t be another of those “pro-active” hero teams. Those never work out very well.
The folks over at Comic Book Resources were going with Spiderman but I’m going to go with the majority of the sages here and say Beast. Kinda confusing though to go from four Avengers books (Mighty, New, Dark and Initiative) to one and now to two. The other question is how the hell do you keep a secret in the Marvel U?
Newsarama sez its a whole new Avengers title – “secret avengers” with Bru and Deodato at the helm. A whole team of black silhouette wearing revenge minded super-humans, yeah? In the age of heroes, we need a team of secret heroes!
Ignoring the image and based on the tagline, I’m going with one of my all time favorite characters, Fixer!

Komodo? She’s got “black ops” experience, she’s Avengers: Initiative, and she’s… Um… That’s all I got.
I’m thinking the image is a little big to be Komodo, but I do really like that character so I’d be all for it. I bought all the Initiative stuff out and didn’t really like where they went with it, but I did like a lot of the characters introduced. Maybe I’m just a sucker for newer younger heroes coming up to the forefront.
