Batman and Robin #7 hit stores yesterday, and with the final page cliffhanger, it certainly looks to be the lead-in to the upcoming Return of Bruce Wayne arc.
The image is rather spoilery, so you’ll have to take a jump so you aren’t Russled forcing you to go home crying to your mamma.
Batman vs. Batman? Yup, it’s gotta be Grant Morrison writing it.

Bruce Wayne corpse + Lazarus Pit – Bruce Wayne soul = Grant Morrison creepiness.
Guess that gives Bruce a body a bit more substantial than a corpse to inhabit once he follows Steve Rogers out of the “time-travel” bit.
ugh — keep him dead…. Unless either (a) he’s less omniscient and invincible or (b) he’s less grim and gritty…..
This issue confused the snot out of me. Where the heck did batwoman come from all of a sudden. And was it me but where the dialog balloons on the wrong characters while bm and bw conversed? Why was batman looking for the pit and the maze instructions if he already had batman down there? I am confused.
Welcome to GrantMorrisonland. Population: Confused.
And I just finished the final volume of Invisibles last week. I thought i earned my morrison stripes, maybe not so much!
I have read on other cites that the dialog word balloons really are a editorial mistake. Sounded like that/those panels had been flipped/reversed in post production…Considering this issue was held back it seems inexcusable to let these errors into the final printing
Already? Has it even been a full 12 months?
Maybe they will do what was done to Optimus Prime after he died in the movie and was brought back in the TV series, Kill him again at the end of the story.
Bruce Wayne, Agent of Shield? (Brightest Day of the Heroic Age one-shot?)
WIN. The Big Two are going to make big crossover bucks from the simultaneous returns!!
