Clark Gregg, the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent that appeared in the first Iron Man movie is reprising his role in both Iron Man 2 and the Kenneth Branagh Thor flick.
The character is the latest to appear in multiple Marvel productions as the comicbook company’s film division preps for the eventual production of “The Avengers,” which unites Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America and Thor in one pic. Marvel has been keen on brokering deals with actors to make sure auds will recognize characters when they crossover and appear in its other films.
It make sense, and it is something I greatly appreciate. At least they aren’t pulling a Billy Dee Williams with this character.

Cant be anything but good!
Agent Coulson should be in everything…
Toy Story 3 – “There’s something important we need to discuss, Buzz Lightyear…”
Tron 2 – “Mr. Flynn. We’d like to join our special team.”
Chuck – “Hello Agent Carmichael. There’s someone the General would like you to meet.”
Just put him everywhere… that would be pretty damn funny.
I think that is excellent. It helps provide the kind of continuity that creates the immersive viewer experience I’ve so longed hoped for with comic book movies.
Now if only Stan Lee would stop playing multiple walk-ons.
Agent Coulson in everything ? Hmmm…that gets even more interesting when you consider that Agent Coulson was also in the West Wing, under his alias of Mark Casper.
i bet he will be reveal as Loki
That would actually be freaking awesome!
