Marvel has announced the next wave of its reprint series, Marvel’s Greatest Comics, will still be a dollar, and will feature four new issues for new readers or those who missed out the first time.

The books are:
April 7: WOLVERINE #66
April 14: HULK #1
April 21: NEW AVENGERS #1
April 28: CIVIL WAR #1

“With the increased mainstream attention on comics and the new readers entering stores, Marvel wants to make sure everyone gets a chance to read our best titles,” said David Gabriel, Marvel Senior Vice-President of Sales & Circulation. “Marvel’s Greatest Comics allows fans to discover new series at a low price while also providing retailers with product they can stock on their shelves for years.”

The one buck comics arrive in April.

  1. “Marvel’s Greatest Comics?” What the list indicates is that Marvel’s “greatest comics” do not include anything that is over 5 years old!!! I understand they are doing it to get new fans, but the name does not makes sense.
