The December 30th comic releases may arrive at your comic shop, and it may not depending on how your shop owner has things scheduled for the holidays.  For those participating in the Marvel program, the company has announced it’s bring the new year in early with a bunch of free stuff, including calendars, comics and more.  With end of the year being a crazy time, and holidays totally screwing with shipping, this event from Marvel might end up being a way for store owners to bring in those extra bucks.

Marvel is wise – the lure of free stuff will create a sound not unlike the sucking of money from my bank account every wednesday.
