I picked it up. I got the first series, mostly because of the art. I haven’t read it yet, partly because I don’t have time, and partly because its not that high on my read list. But what I have looked through, the art is awesome. It is a nice rendition of the story and I love the style for each character. I’m looking forward to reading it, and eventually, reading this series as well.
Skottie Young’s work on the covers of the last couple of issues of Cable & Deadpool were memorable…sniff…sniff…
I read it. I had picked up the first 8 from the last series, and got them signed by Skottie at the WIndyCity Comicon. My comic shop, being the forward thinking guys they are, threw this in my pull box for this week, knowing I would gladly take this series too. And I loved it. The art is good, but I love how the writing stays true to that classic fairy tale style dialouge.
P.S., it never ceases to blow my mind how much my comic shop guy sounds like Stephen.
Anyone else notice the Mickey Mouse hot-air balloon?
