Forget Captain America and Iron Man, what kids really want to see is Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Misty Knight kickin’ butt and takin’ names on their Saturday morning cartoons.  That’s just what they’ll get this weekend as the Heroes for Hire make their debut on Marvel’s Super Hero Squad Show.  Even though the interpretation of the characters is done in a kid friendly way, and that may not appeal to an older audience, I have to give Marvel and company credit for bringing in a huge list of guest stars to voice characters from the series.  This week it is Lil JJ as Luke Cage, and Tamera Mowry as Misty Knight.

With the Heroes For Hire on the scene, guest-villains Brynnie Bratton, Pyro, M.O.D.O.K., Abomination and more join the fight! Don’t miss the family friendly Super Hero team up unlike any in history on the Cartoon Network at 8:30 AM on Saturday! “Hero Up” with The Super Hero Squad Show!

You probably ought to check your local listings, as I’m pretty sure that time is Eastern and Pacific.

One of the funniest things about this show is how Silver Surfer has a surfer dude voice.
