MAJOR SPOILERS POLL OF THE WEEK
Sometimes I fear what is going through the mind of SkrullBryan. He’s the one that sent along the Poll of the Week for this week, and I guess from the Skrull point of view, one might spend endless hours pondering the crazy beard look – especially if you are from a race that has more than enough reason to want to cover their chins. Regardless of the mental state of our shape shifting friend, the big question remains…
Who makes this look “look” good?
A) Dumbledore
B) Alan Moore
C) John Brown

MAJOR SPOILERS DISCUSSION: Surrogates: Flesh and Bone
In a dark, downtown alley in Central Georgia Metropolis, a juvenile prank goes too far and a homeless man is killed. When the ensuing investigation reveals that the attackers aren’t who they appeared to be, justice depends on the testimony of a single missing witness – a street snitch with a history of providing information to a cop named Harvey Greer. Harvey is placed on special assignment to track down the informant, but others have their own designs, including a wealthy socialite and an ex-con turned religious leader known to his followers as The Prophet. As days pass and anger among the anti-surrogate population grows, the city stands on a razor’s edge. Will punishment be exacted in a courtroom or on the streets? Set fifteen years prior to the events of the original Surrogates graphic novel, Flesh & Bone sheds light on the past that binds the cast together. From the streets of Central Georgia Metropolis to the boardroom of Virtual Self, Inc., Flesh & Bone takes us on a journey through a city struggling to come to grips with its present. Not only a suspenseful thriller but also a cautionary tale, this book reminds us that tomorrow will be determined by the choices we make today.

It’s almost uncanny how Stephen mimicked my voice. ;)
In the end, when you said you’re gonna return to the mice, I thought you were actually gonna review a Disney comic on next week’s episode. :)
Great show!
During “The Surrogates” review, someone brought up the point that they didn’t understand why all of the “dreads” were black. I can’t answer that BUT one of the characters in the story explains why they are called “dreads”. The name comes from the fact that many of the members have dread locks. I hope that helps.
Keep up the good work.
Totally enjoy the shout-out (Matthew cracks me up) but would love some Dante artwork! Love his Crutical Hits drawings…
You know I love you, Matthew… but you realize that Helvetica is the most common typeface on the planet directly due to its readability. Just sayin’.
Helvetica blows…
It’s the typeface equivalent of 5 for a dollar ramen noodles, and it’s ubiquity adds to it’s insidious bastardry.
Matthew, I got that joke!
Somewhere out there, the Marauder is still easy riding…

Why do people always asume I’m insane? Me and 2 of my other personalities find that insulting.
P.S. I still think Hawkman is going to show up in Smallville, he’s shirtless all the time, hence the good physique asked of the actor, and he reincarnates all the time so any ethniciy works.
well here’s hoping they do away with the helmet that makes him look like he’s always staring intently at your junk
