Last week, there was a lot of speculation over an image of Pixar creators at work.  Behind the sculptor is a very pronounced image of a dinosaur and a boy, which many saw as a clue to the next 3D movie project.  The Pixar blog site offered up a variety of clues, and ultimately came to this conclusion:

These facts point to this having been a research trip for an unannounced upcoming film, almost certainly being directed by (Greg) Dykstra. This would undoubtedly be a short since Dykstra hasn’t directed before at the studio.

On the other hand, with the latest purchase by Disney, perhaps we are seeing early work into that Devil Dinosaur movie Matthew’s always going on about.
