When I watch this trailer for the upcoming Gamer trailer, a few things come to mind; 1) It looks really cool, 2) it reminds me a lot of Running Man, and 3) it reminds me a lot of Avalon. Then again, Running Man is a movie way out of date, and I doubt many ‘merican audiences have seen the foreign film, so this movie may go over great – just like Death Race did when it got remade.

i usually don’t care about those big explosion movies, but this look interesting, even if running man and avalon comes to mind.
Leonidas as a puppet?
That won’t go over well!
This looks interesting, but it could be horrible just as easily.
Avalon was awesome (in a wtf kind of way too, heh).
It reminds you of Barry Levinson’s story of immigration in America?

Well, I guess I can see the similarities. I kid.
Honestly, from the previews, it reminds me more of the Running Man book than the movie. Still, the “puppet master” aspect is pretty interesting, as is the presence of Michael C. Hall.
