Here’s a trippy commission done by Evan Shaner, that features the founding members of the Legion of Super-Heroes that look like they’ve gone through the Herge treatment. It’s LoSH meets Tintin in today’s Art Appreciation Moment of the Day!

A commission of the Silver Age Legion founding members for :iconfrankphotos: featuring Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, and Cosmic Boy.

I’m always up for some Silver Age goodness, so this was a lot of fun. I’ll admit I don’t know much about the Legion’s history but I love the character designs. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to tackle some more Legionnaires here soon.

Can I just say how much I’m loving this Legion-themed Art Appreciation Week? I really, really am.

Mela: Glad you are enjoying. Wonder what I should do for next week?

This is HERGERIFFIC~!!!! Wow. I wonder what else would translate well into his “euro” stylings? (That’s a hint, Stephen, but maybe too narrow a concept for a whole “theme week”? I dunno?)

I like the Legion art too — but spread it out a bit! Give us some Dawnstar and Wildfire and Imra and Rokk in their skimpy costumes!
