    That issue #2 cover: urgh. It’s not the tongue that bothers me (it’s not as bad as the cover of Daniel Way’s VENOM #1), but…what possible audience demographic is going to be more attracted to a comic cover when it forces you to look straight up the crotch and/or arse of a killer cannibal alien-monster?

    Besides, there’s no webbing on his wrists/hands – what the hell is he doing? Did he watch Spider-Man 3 to do his research on portraying the black-suited character? Does the Symbiote now respond to high-frequency vibrations by doing a quick salsa?
