Fox has renewed Fringe for another 22-episode season. Interestingly, it is the number one new show among the demographic the show is targeted toward.
“‘Fringe’ proved to be a notable addition to our schedule all season, and it really has fans buzzing as it builds to a fantastic season finale,” said Kevin Reilly, president of entertainment at Fox. “J.J. and the whole Bad Robot team have been phenomenal partners, and we look forward to years of making great television with them.”
It was a slow burn getting into the show, and there were a couple of weeks early on, where I thought this was one of the worst shows out there. However, after about four weeks, the show started to click as the X-Files vibe settled in and the show improved.

My wife an I love Fringe! We generally like Sci-Fi/Mystery stuff anyway, but this show is different. Walter Bishop makes me laugh out loud at least 4 or 5 times an episode. Great casting and writing.
Great great show, me and my girlfriend love the show :D
Yay! I also like this show but they need to mix it up a bit. Sometimes it feels too much like a “villain of the week” show.
I love this show and think it’s the best thing on TV Tuesday nights (and that’s from a big SVU fan). Glad to see it got renewed and won’t fizzle out like Invasion, the last Bad Robot show I got into.
