Continuing with our Pulp Hero Art Appreciation Moment Week, Matt Bennett takes a crack out my most favorite pulp hero of all time – Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze!

I usually only try to feature one artist per day, but I got such a kick out of Scott Godlewski’s work on Sunday, that I wanted to feature him again.

I just finished reading my first Doc Savage novel, Man of Bronze, and thought I would do up some mugshots in the tradition of my good friend *DocShaner. Glad you approve, Doc!

Adventurers are Doc, Ham, Monk, Renny, Long Tom, and Johnny.

DocShaner, huh?  Yeah, I think we’ve heard of that guy.

Yeah. I can see why you like Doc Savage. This art of Doc Savage is Really hot.

However, in terms of sheer Pulp Genius I would promote “The Spider” by Norvell Page as the Best Pulp Character EVER.
