If the theme is Wizard of Oz, I’d be remiss if I didn’t have a day featuring the most awesome work of Skottie Young for the current Marvel series.

My first cover to the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. I wasn’t thrilled with this when I first finished it. In fact, we almost just used this a promo piece instead of a cover. Luckily my editors liked it enough to talk me off the artistic ledge and just use it as the cover. I’m glad we did, it set a nice tone for the covers to follow. It’s been cool to see this as a poster hanging in shop windows.

what he did with cable and deadpool during the last 10? issues were amazing…and i wish they would have continued the series with him doing the covers and deadpool having to team-up with random people from the marvel universe.
