While the rest of the Ultimate Universe collapses around the heroes, Ultimate Wolverine and Hulk continue their epic battle that has been waging for years.  The first two issues are back in print for a third time featuring new variant covers by Leinil Francis Yu.  While everyone waits for the final installments of the mini-series, the variant covers should pick up a few more readers to the big brawl.

Marvel describes the series as:

Acclaimed writer Damon Lindelof (co-creator of television’s LOST) and artists Leinil Francis Yu (Secret Invasion) and Dave McCaig (New Avengers) join together to bring this explosive limited series to the Ultimate line. Doctor Bruce Banner travels the globe in hopes of finding inner peace and protecting the world from the inner beast raging within, landing in Tibet…where Wolverine plans on killing him!

God – I’m usually heavily in favour of Yu’s work, but that is one ugly set of reprints. They could have, you know, just left the pencils section; there’s really no need to plastr on those mini-covers.

is this finally going to get finished? if it wasnt for the biannual re-release of the first two parts of this long delayed title I would have forgotten about this some years ago.
how many years has this been dragging on now?
