I heard somewhere (real reliable, I know) that Invincible Iron Man #1 is set after Secret Invasion. I suppose it’s safe to assume, if that is the case, then that post-SI there is still an Iron Man-fronted S.H.I.E.L.D. and the registration act is still in effect.?
So far, all of Invincible Iron Man is set before SI, and issue #8 will be the first issue post-SI.
I would assume that the first arc was set pre-Secret Invasion, and if I had to guess, I’d say that this one coming up will be pre-SI as well.
Continuity questions? Seriously. Don’t you know this is Marvel? We don’t need no stinking continuity.
This is set before Secret Invasion. Issue #8 kicks off the “Dark Reign” event, which is why the solicits won’t come up until Secret Invasion is over. Dum Dum Dugan was in issue #1, which happens before he blows himself up in Secret Invasion #1.
I’m still angry they killed off Dum Dum…stupid SI… and if Spiderman and Iron Man are going to become friends again then why have Civil War? Damn you comic universe, if you’re going to change things drastically for money and then slowly make it so everything was the way it always was…wait that’s how it always works…why am I still a fan?
