A quick glance at the USA Today 150 Best Sellers for the week has the Watchmen trade paperback tumbling to the number 51 spot on the list.  Readers will remember Watchmen climbed high on the charts following the very brief Watchmen trailer that was tagged to the Dark Knight movie this past summer.

In other Watchmen news, Zack Snyder has confirmed that the movie will come in at 2 hours and 43 minutes in order to tell the story he wants to tell.

I agree. I’ve been dying for a new trailer. /Film reported that the next one is supposed to come November 14, before the next James Bond movie.

2 hours 43 minutes. That sounds a little short, but maybe there’ll be some of the cut scenes on the DVD to help flesh out the story.

Hopefully, the theaters and movie people don’t pressure him into cutting.
