piechart.jpgAugust marks the first full month charting the Watchmen Trailer Effect, as the Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons trade hit number one in the Top 100 Trade Paperbacks and Graphic Novels as reported by Diamond Comic Distributors.

Debuting at the number six position was DC’s first volume of All-Star Superman, which seemed to be a trend for the company, bringing in six of the top 10 trades for the month.  Marvel only had three titles appearing in the Top 10, with Dark Horse taking the number 2 spot this month with Star Wars Force Unleashed.
