paxromana01.jpgImage Comics has announced Jonathan Hickman will release the first issue of his new mini-series Pax Romana for free on the Internets  that will coincide with the release of issue #2 in the stores.

“I’m extremely proud of PAX ROMANA,” said creator Jonathan Hickman. “It’s enough of a departure from my first project, The NIGHTLY NEWS, that I had concerns about how it would be initially received. The fact that we printed more copies – the fact that we sold out of those copies – has been wonderful.”

Pax Romana #2 arrives in stores this week for $3.50.  You can read the first issue here.
