This series has been pure gold from start to…right now. The mythological characterisation, the acknowledgment of previous continuity (‘Oh Wait, Didn’t Ares Used To Be A Giant Supervillain?’), the pure badass emanating from Herc’s frame…and the solicits show it to be getting even better.
Dammit, I wish I had done this first.
They’re throwing missles at eachother, I’m in!
My love of this title has grown since last issue and Herc’s interaction with the Black Widow after when he pulls his best Ron Burgundy impression, “don’t act like you’re not impressed”. I do love what Pak’s doing pulling in the mythological aspect as well as the history of each of the characters within the greater MarvelU.
“NO! Wonderman has been felled by a blow from an unseen assailant!”
Gold, Jerry, gold!
