BrianDawkinsWolverine.gifI had to throw this up on the site now before it is too late.  If you are a fan of Monday Night Football, check out ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown when the show features Philadelphia Eagles Brian Dawkins’ love for Wolverine.

Watch as Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief Joe Quesada speaks about how Wolverine and Dawkins may not be that different, while industry legend John Romita Jr re-imagines two of Dawkins’ memorable moments. You’ll see the process of Romita sketching Dawkins as Wolverine from blank page to finished pencils right before your eyes, in this special segment filmed on location at the Marvel Comics offices!

The show will feature John Romita Jr. and Joe Quesada, and airs tonight at 8:00 PM EST

I might have issues with some of Quesada’s editorial decisions and style, but I will always admire the man’s ability to pimp his product!

I have seen more cross-promotion with major venues under Quesada’s reign than I can remember with any editor since Stan Lee. If only DC comics could take a page from Joey Q.’s playbook.

For some reason when DC does cross-promotion, you never really hear about it. Example- LeBron James/King James comic.
