Variety is reporting Shoreline Studio has optioned the Zenescope comic The Living Corpse by Haeser and Hasson to be turned into a motion picture. Justin Ritter will write and diret with Morris Ruskin producing.

“The Living Corpse” — initially self-published by Haeser and Hasson — weaves the tale of a zombie who has vague memories of his past life.His mission is to keep the rest of the walking dead in their graves.
