    Starscream is Spongebob Squarepants?

Cap’n Steve: “Are you ready, Spoilermaniacs?”
    All: “Aye Aye Captain!”
    Cap’n Steve: “I can’t hear you.”
    All: “Aye Aye Captain!”

He came here from deep space to conquer us, see?
Megatron doesn’t trust him, and neither should we!
If giant jet overlord’s something you wish…
Then leap in the air and transform, “WOK WOK WSSSH!”

Cap’n Steve: “Too bad they didn’t just hire Chris Latta again…”

Thanks for once again ruining my childhood. Who the heck was in charge of picking these folks?!?

As a Transformers toy enthusiast, I can rest easy knowing that the Classics toyline will continue and I can continue to pick up the comics.

I can skip this cartoon that is not aimed at my demographic, and relish in the not-quite-as-good-as-I-remember-it original cartoon.

Get over it… Your childhood is over ;) (did you see the he-man remake :P )

Sadly, Chris Latta passed some time ago. But I agree, still.

Hollywood: Always available to drop a big steaming pile over once-good franchises.

I do believe I’m sick. First the Looney Toons and now the Transformers. Hey why don’t you just ruin all the cartoons from out childhoods to make them more MTV.

While cartoons should be enjoyed by all ages, they’re not aimed at us. What worked for us as kids, doesn’t necessarily work for kids today. Thus Loonatics Unleashed, Transformers Animated and, to an extent, Sigma Six.

If the cartoons we watched as kids worked as well as we remember them, they never would have went off the air.

If you want classic Looney Toons, buy the dvd collections. Same goes with Transformers, G.I.Joe, He-Man, etc…

I’m not trying to put anyone down, but we need to face the fact that we are not the target demographic for these new cartoons, our children are. The networks/studios are hoping that any nostalgia we have for these properties will help convert not us, but our kids.

This looks terrible. Who cares about the voice actors. At least they got Corey Burton to voice some of the characters. (he was Soundwave, FYI).

The issue here is the extremely horrible art. How the hell did this art get past the doodle napkin? Then at the pitch meeting, they turn the TRANSFORMING ROBOTS into ‘superheroes’? What the hell is wrong with people?

I dont care that its ruining my childhood and so on. Its just unbelievably lazy and horrible art, a REALLY stupid story line, and they completely changed up the transformers.

Its garbage. It will be interesting to see that it’s the first Transformers cartoon to get canceled in its first season.

No… Frank Welker was the voice of Soundwave, as well as Megatron, Blades, Buzzsaw, Chromedome, Frenzy, Galvatron, Groove, Laserbeak, Mirage, Mixmaster, Ratbat, Ravage, Rumble, Skywarp, Sludge, Steeljaw, Superion, Trailbreaker, Wheelie, miscellaneous Junkions and Teletraan 2.

agree with y’all’s moms – the art here looks a little subpar. Plus, look at the way Optimus’s waist is incredibly thin. He must have watched too much Barbie growing up.

yeah this is utter crap! it’s not that we aren’t the target demographic it’s that these producers, writers, and dare i say artists? think so little of todays kids that they regergitate the same old boring lazy product that we see here. i would suffer through the stupid (kid as a official member) tag, hect even the fact that they seem to have dumped some classic cheracters for some new never before seen ones ” who the heck is the army truck”, if if iffffff they atleast looked halfway decent! And unfortunately they look like repaints of teen titan cheracters? I think I just vomited blood This toon has given me cancer yeah it’s that bad!

Graphics WTF ? Its a cartoon not a video game. Drawings or Artwork, not Graphics.

But yes, it does look weak. Tired of the capitalization of shitty anime styled kids shows. Good anime is awesome, shitty anime is shitty. The worst part is they are robots, and robots (from what i remember) were always freaking awesome in anime.

Cartoons were always made to capitalize on toys and merchandising even when we were kids, but its so sad that producers don’t even make a decent attempt anymore. Its so half assed. At least our toys were freaking sweet, compared to the crap they make kids want today.

This is probably the funniest load of bull I’ve ever seen… They took a masterpiece and WRECKED it!!! Lol, my Budgie could draw better then that.Well at least Optimus discovered slimfast and lost a few tonnes. Perhaps now Megatron could carry him to the wedding?

The anime from Armada was awesome! Why couldn’t they have just worked a little on that? I think the cast is fairly original though ;D
