Here it is, the issue that is fast on the heels of Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #13. I’m excited about this issue for two reason; first it is the return of Wally West and his dealings with Bart’s death, second it is the return of Mark Waid as the series writer. Shame about the cover though…

DC Comics has made a preview of All-Flash #1 available for your prying eyes.

Written by Mark Waid
Art by Karl Kerschl, Ian Churchill, Manuel Garcia, Joe Bennett and Daniel Acuña
Covers by Joshua Middleton and Bill Sienkiewicz

The aftermath of THE FLASH: THE FASTEST MAN ALIVE #13. The Fastest Man Alive’s world changes forever!

Agreed, the cover is shameful, but it’ll be nice to see a grown man and fathe of two beat up a small boy on behalf of another small boy.

    I kid. Wally West rulez.

Seconded, if they re-worked the face a bit the cover would be much improved.

But the preview from the book looks great. Seeing the tears in Wally’s eyes when he grabs Enertia…I can feel the emotion. I think it was speculated on this site that Enertia had been killed by the Rogues along with Bart…guess that didn’t happen. I didn’t get that notion myself from reading Flash: FMA #13. I’ve been meaning to re-read it to see if I missed anything.
