I’ve always wanted to do a Kung-Fu Zombie Western, but it looks like Th3rd World Studios may have beaten me to the punch with two of the three ideas. Omega Chase is a western where the dead have guns and are out for the sheriff. I’m not sure about the gun-toting part, but hey, it is a different take on the shuffling brain eaters.

Take the jump for the six page preview of the four issue mini-series that arrives in September.

Omega Chase #1
Writer: Dallas
Art: Molina-Muscara

A horde of zombie gunslingers swarms an old west town, and Sheriff Mack Baron is the only lawman willing to put up a fight. The townsfolk don’t have faith in him, and the living dead, armed with pistols, just want to kill him. Plagued by distant memories of the future, it’s a bad time to be Mack Baron. Join Mack and Th3rd World Studios, in volume one, part one of a four issue full color limited series, as Mack tries to unravel the mystery of his existence.

Awesome. I’ve got a bit of an inside track and I’ve read the entirety of the first two issues of Omega Chase and this is a fun, fun series with some good surprises. Definitely worth checking out.
