Asterix Jeux Aux.

English translation needed? Take the jump

Who doesn’t love Asterix? Those crazy French have been cranking out some really great looking Asterix movies, that simply rock… If I could only speak the language of love… le sigh…

I have seen a subtitled Asterix und Cleopatra, and it followed the comic almost exactly, and rocked my socks off, so I am sure Asterix Aux Jeux Olympiques will rock just as hard. Here’s a quick trailer – if you are into that kind of thing.

Hmm… Asterix est l’une de ces choses que je n’ai pas lues depuis l’école de catégorie, tout comme Tintin. Je me demande s’il supportent ?

The automated translation is totally odd. :-D

Yeah, I used to love Asterix and Tintin when I was elementary school, but I think because I read them in Portuguese. Reading Asterix in English seems a bit off – my feeling is that since French has more in common with other Romance languages, the translation in Portuguese worked better.

…darn…please hold off using automated translations…

…they are awful to this little translator’s eyes…

    …hé hé hé…

…but yeah, Astérix et Cléopatre was really fun…and I hope this one is as good…
