It’s not often I get excited about seeing two companies do a crossover event (unless it is Batman and Captain America), but Unholy Union from Top Cow and Marvel could be one of those events.

In the oversized issue written by Ron Marz and illustrated by Michael Broussard, Witchblade and The Darkness find themselves meeting the Ghost Rider, the Incredible Hulk, and Doctor Strange.

“We packed as much as humanly possible into this one. I think we ended up with a story that gives each of the characters a moment in the spotlight, includes plenty of over-the-top action, and even plants a seed for Top Cow’s upcoming First Born storyline,” commented writer Ron Marz, “So we’ve got all that, plus ample opportunity for artist Michael Broussard to show off what he’s capable of. For a guy who’s just beginning his career, Michael is amazingly accomplished. He’s the real deal, and I’m happy to be working with him.”

The 40 page one shot will sell for $3.99. Major Spoilers has a sneak peek at the preliminary cover after the jump.

Mmm… I can never get past Witchblade’s origins as a Bad Girl title to enjoy it, it just seems like a naked lady covered in rubber cement to me… I’ve had a bad track record with Ron Marz writing, too. That makes for a rough hill to get over, but I’ll probably give it a chance…

Caption for Ghost Rider: ‘You can KEEP your lousy World War, Hulk – I’m Tapping that Ass while I still can!’

I like Witchblade. I still have issue #1 from the 90s. Ghost Rider is cool. Hulk is better in the comics, Hulks movie, alot to be desired. I think this crossover is going to be great in not only the Marvel Universe, but the Image universe as well.

Great Issue! Got it in Ireland (hey, and I’m from Austria ^^)
Anyhow… I would recommend these comic to everyone who likes ‘The Darkness’, because it’s more about him than the others. I have never read ‘The Incredible Hulk’ (maybe because I don’t really like Marvel comics… – BUT PLEASE DON’T KILL ME for not liking it XD. It’s just, they’re not as cool drawn as Purgatori (Al Rio: http://www.alrioart.com) from Chaos! – which doesn’t exist anymore…)
    In this comic, everyone’s great…
    The Darkness
    The Incredible Hulk
    Ghost Rider
    and Dr. Strange

PS:This issue is really cool drawn(more of ‘The Darkness’ Style)^^I wouldn’t have bought if it wasn’t

You know you have something to say, say it in the comment section
