Some geologists in a mine in Serbia have discovered a new mineral. Unable to find a match in the books, the scientists jumped on the Interweb and found a match to Kryptonite.  Even though the brittle rock isn’t green and doesn’t contain krytpon, it does match a chemical composition for kryptonite suggested in the Superman Returns movie.Superman_eating_hamburgers.gif

Interesting… kind of like that burger I had a McDonald’s the other day – it fit the physical description of meat, even though it contained no real meat product.  And unlike this “Poser Kryptonite”, which will offically be called Jadarite, that McDonald’s burger could probably bring Superman down.

The Poser Kryptonite goes on display tomorrow at the West London museum.

S’what you get for eating at McDonald’s. I took my daughter to Spangle’s yesterday, and was awe-struck that they cooked the little hockey puck to the same consistency as the plastic floor mats in my old Dodge Magnum.
