An interesting bit of info popping up around the comic blogosphere is the credit listing of Neil Patrick Harris over at IMDb.

In addition to his work on Harold and Kumar 2, Harris is listed as doing voice work for Justice League: The New Frontier. New Frontier is the animated direct to DVD movie from DC adapting the VERY excellent series from Darwyn Cooke. Even before seeing the listing, I knew Neil would be voicing the part of Barry Allen’s Flash.

Also joining the crew is David Boreanaz as Hal Jordan, Brooke Shields as Carol Ferris, Lucy Lawless as Wonder Woman, Kyle MacLachlan as Clark Kent, and Phil Morris as King Faraday.

After reading New Frontier for the second time, I really hope this movie pays off big time for DC and Warner Bros. And why wouldn’t it? With an awesome story by Cooke, and Bruce Timm attached to direct, this should be a slam dunk feature.
