PKJ0AdrianCoverBIG.jpgDynamite Entertainment has announced Painkiller Jane will be back this April with an all new series. To celebrate the release, Painkiller Jane #0 will be offered at a special introductory price of just $.25.

Painkiller Jane #0 features a story from Jane creators Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti and is written by Palmiotti with interior art by returning Painkiller Jane artist Lee Moder. Dynamite is planning to release Painkiller Jane #0 in time for Free Comic Book Day.

“Jane is one of my favorite characters, and with this new series we are going to take her places she has never been before,” said Palmiotti. “The greatest thing about writing Painkiller Jane now is that, with working on the show and the book at the same time, it’s giving me a unique opportunity to build on the character and take Jane to a more mature audience than she has ever had before. I really am excited!”

Painkiller Jane has starred in numerous cross-over titles with the likes of The Punisher,Vampirella, and Hellboy. In April, she will star in a new SCI-FI television series with Kristanna Loken of Terminator 3 fame starring as Jane Vasko.
