dcartpicon.jpgMajor Spoilers received the following cryptic image from DC Comics. No other information was included except for the above title, but it does seem to indicate something disastrous has happened in the DCU. Fallout from 52 maybe?

Warning: Major Spoilers!

Seriously, I mean it!

The foreground contains some long dead heroes including Blue Beetle, Maxwell Lord and Jade. We know The Question is dying in 52, but there was some hope he might pull through with the help of Renee Montoya. Looks like he doesn’t make it.

What’s that thing laying on the ground next to Max Lord?  What about that gold spec near Blue Beetle and the red cross above that?  Is Kyle Rayner wearing a yellow ring?
Mary Marvel looks rather sad sitting by her lonesome, kind of like can’t she believe someone is missing. Green Lantern/Kyle Rayner is missing his Ion logo if I’m not mistaken, and of course the old school Donna Troy has to mean something, right? Green Arrow and Black Canary look pretty angry with one another too.

The destroyed Statue of Liberty seems to be part of the fallout from World War III and leads me to believe this will be one Earth Shattering event.

I find it very interesting Kingdom Come’s Red Robin and an Elseworld’s pirate Batman are there, but I guess that ties in with the whole “the multiverse is back” idea.

It’s hard to tell if Flash is Wally West, Barry Allen, or Bart Allen. It is the Barry Allen costume, so maybe he is returning?!

Keep checking back with Major Spoilers as we attempt to unravel the “Let the battle cry be heard in the land, a shout of great destruction” mystery.

Hey did anyone get a Planet of the Apes like feeling with that buried Statue of Liberty head?
