Silent Devil has announced The Last Sin of Mark Grimm #1 has completely sold out, prompting the company to send the issue back to the printers. The variant cover is a black and white rendition of the original cover by Tommy Castillo.
“Don’t call it a comeback,” says publisher Christian Beranek. “M. Sean McManus (creator/writer of The Last Sin of Mark Grimm) hustled his tail off to get the word out about the book and it paid off. We’re ecstatic to be able to offer a 2nd printing for fans of this awesome crime tale.”
In addition to the new cover, The Last Sin of Mark Grimm #1 will also feature pin-ups from independent artists.
“I am thrilled to death,” says M. Sean McManus. “We had so many great pin-ups come in from so many talented artists, it was overwhelming. We all know how hard it is to get noticed as an independent in the big book. By taking Mark Grimm to conventions all around the country, comic fans of every variety took notice and really responded to what we’ve created. Some have even bought multiple copies as gifts for friends and families. That sort of approval is hard to come by, and I think it makes all of us involved feel fantastic.”
