hellboycover.jpgSet your TiVo for the Cartoon Network on October 28 to catch the Hellboy animated movie, Sword of Storms. Comics Continuum has a couple of quotes from supervising producer Tad Stones and Mike Mignola who say the movie shouldn’t be edit for television, but regardless the DVD release will be unedited.

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola noted that the animated universe stands on its own from the comic books or the live-action film.

“It’s not radically different,” Mignola said. “It’s recognizable, but it’s a little different, which I kind of like. It’s nice to keep them different.”
