Ah yes, Adam Hughes, he is to good girl art as Alex Ross is to realistic images of heros. Just found out Hughes will be working on DC’s All Star Wonder Woman. Most of you will remember Hughes long run as the cover artist for Wonder Woman (heck, I bought a lot of those issues just for the cover alone), and now he gets a crack at the pages within. I’ve been a big Hughes fan since the mid ’80s and love what he does with the human form.

But even better than the art, Hughes will also be writing the stories. Hughes said he hasn’t sat down with DiDio and crew to work out a schedule, but we can probably expect the title to begin sometime in 2007. Knowing how slowly books come out, it will probably be late 2007 before we see anything hit the stands. With Hughes’ other demands, here’s hoping he can turn out product faster than Lee/Miller’s All Star Batman and Robin
